and this is seriously a piece of work, awesome product Simon!

:D

I'm going to have some fun with it, since its going to be riding a warp feed on my pneumag.

What're the chances of running it off batteries in the warp?

I have one too. Excellent. I could not ask for a better electric hopper :)

I see little problem running it off the battery pack in the Warp. Depends on the batteries for how long it will last and perform under load, but voltage wise you should be ok. What batteries do you have in the Warpfeed?

I usually use regular name brand batteries. I don't have the marker totally complete yet, its more a thought on balance, since the warp's batteries are slung low, below my left arm, vs above it. Its probably just nit picking at this point.

There was a suggestion on another forum about gutting the warp and trying to let the prophecy feed right through... which intrigues me but I'm not sure how effective it would be.

I've had loaders off the tops of guns since around 1992-1993. I filed my first patent on such items in 1997. (http://haveblue.org/tech/patents/US006109252.pdf)I'll see if I can put some of the Protoypes into the insiders forum. :)

You can get the Prophecy system to work as an uphill force feeder, but I don't think you will have any luck doing it via a gutted warpfeed. It's making it work harder than it would need to.

I was already on the Tinker's Guild in 1999ish when hushed discussions of the "Uber Loader" and some of your patent stuff was floating around. :D

I also just picked up a Prophecy loader yesterday. I don't have it in-hand yet, but I'll say this. Watching some of your videos on PBNation where you just take the front of the hopper off to clean it... damn. That right there sold me on the loader. The thing could feed like molasses at that point. The ability to clean inside of it without tools or frustration has me downright giddy.

It also begs the question - why hasn't somebody done something like the interchangable nose before? Is it because we've made larger strides in polymer/plastic research?

What about a warpish type bracket off the bottom of the girp and a hose right from the feedneck of the Prophecy to the gun? Would the Shorter distance cut it? Kinda like the rig I saw you (Simon) playing with at Skirmish except not mounted on the tank cover.

Yes that would work. I've made loaders like that for a long time. The rig I was testing for a long time (years ago now, when the Magna was about to be introduced) had a longer hose than that.

You might not get the ultimate feed rates, but you will be able to play effectively with it.
