This is one of the first HSV clips we posted. Just for people to see the quality of the equipment we were using. Of course Youtube has done its best to ruin it :)

I've seen this video before, what kind of camera do you use?

Youtube has been ruining a lot of my videos lately. No idea why it does it to some but not all of them. :( I use the same high def camera for all my new stuff.

It's always disappointing to see the high speed video get ruined by youtube because the quality everyone else gets to see doesn't come close to what we get from the original files. Part of the problem we find is that the files are just HUGE! That's why so many of the clips I post end up having to be so short.

Why not rerender and compress the clips prior upload to youtube?
Not really a big problem to get a 10min HD clip bellow 1GB. ;)

Right now I am on a laptop in England so I don't have my video editing software with me.

I get the same problems in the USA too though when I render the videos down.

I'm using Sony Vegas. I can't remember what the final output I used was, but am open to suggestions if there is something someone has found that's better. Typical HSV excerpts of short occurances are around 500M for just the clip.

There are tons of free and small apps that suport video rendering. One of them is called "super" which does a great job with tons of formats. Altough its a pain to find the download link on their website.
