Just the other day I was thinking about how the movie industry often turns to paintball for cool looking gadgets to use as movie props, be it a paintball gun used by Jackie Chan in one of his 90's movies or goggles used by nameless soldiers in action flicks...

And today I watched this movie. It's called Ninja Assasin and was produced, among others, by the Wachowski Bros.

Anyone got any other examples? Maybe we can find them all?

:)

Here's a post I made on PBNation about this.

I was watching the trailer and saw what I immediately knew was the faceplate of some E-Vents goggles cut down.

I actually thought this would happen when I was CAD modelling them up and making the prototypes. I knew they would be used in a movie some day. This is the first one I know of though. :)From this thread. (http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=3203019)

I think it's great when this stuff ends up in movies. :D

not exactly on topic, but here's a compilation of images from television and movies depicting paintball; I've got more to research/add, but I think it's a pretty good cross-section as it stands.

Yeah I watched Ninja Assasin. Terrible movie.

More interestingly, in the movie V for Vendetta the "soldiers" all wear paintball masks. There are a lot of movies with all kinds of paintball gear used as props.

Hey Steve, Welcome to the forum.

That's quite a collection in your article. The Orange gun in the "Community" is a BT TM15, with a Rotor Hopper on top. The pistols there were all using were Tippmann TPX's.
