SPORT SHOT HOPPERS RELEASED! (Extreme Rage Multi Caliber Hopper).

Wow, do I get excited about the little things.

Sometimes the fun stuff are the small, low cost (I hate saying cheap, as it has the wrong connotations) items.

One of those is the SportShot hopper that we have just released. I should say the "Extreme Rage Multi Caliber Hopper" as that is it's official title but it rose to fame as the SportShot and that's what most of us know it as.

    What is it?

A cheap... err low cost, gravity hopper. Designed to take 100 rounds approximately and mainly for use by the pump playing community. MSRP is $9.95 I think. (I'm lousy when it comes to knowing retail costs of anything, I just design and get the stuff made, right, I don't work in sales.... )

    Why does it excite me?

    A) Because pump play rocks! If you haven't tried it, do so.
    B) If it's a success it may lead to me being able to do more pump orientated products and that's cool because see A)
    C) It's us showing that we can do niche products, and that we do care about what the paintball community wants. They wanted this hopper back. We improved it, and now it is re-released.

Check out my youtube video for it... and don't forget to subscribe and post in the comments section of the video if you want to win one!

Hi Manike. I'm wondering if there is something inherit in the shape or design of the Sportshot that would make it jam less despite not having any sort of agitation mechanism. This hopper looks great for pump players and I would like to urge my local pro shop to carry them (The Paintball Store) Chino, CA. But I would like to know how they do in reliable feeding compared to the current pump-oriented hoppers my store carries (the BE pocket hopper which jams every third ball or the Winchester which is priced at a stiff $14).

I am not the engineer on the design side, just someone who got to use the newly redesigned hopper. The new shape on the inside seems to absolutely feed better. There is a large pump only game every summer at EMR Paintball park in Pennsylvania, and that is the perfect place to try out things like this! My experience was that this consistently fed my AT'd Sniper 2, and was the right size for my 100 round pods- what more could I ask for?
