    Prophecy Shells Question

I've seen a lot of discussion on this topic and it seems that there are conflicting views. I am getting a Prophecy with all three noses in a trade and although I like everything about the loader, the feedneck issues that I've read Prophecies have concern me. If it is not too much of a bother, can anyone answer the following questions?

    1) Were all generation one Prophecies made with the plastic that was made incorrectly?
    2) Exactly how easy is it to break the part of the shell that goes around the feedneck? Is it just from people diving or will it break just from being in a clamping feedneck?
    3) Will the aluminum feedneck insert really make that much of a difference over the plastic one?
    4) Is there any way I can find a number or something on my Prophecy when it gets here and have someone at Empire tell me if I have one of the Prophecies made with the bad plastic?
    5) Were any of the aftermarket noses made with the bad plastic?
    6) How would I go about getting the upgraded parts that come on the Prophecy 2.0 (ex. Belt, Feedneck Insert, Better Shells, etc.) or is this even necessary?

I think I need to just stop worring but some closure on these quetions would be nice. Thanks guys!

    Ok....I'll answer what I can...

Simon will have to fill in the rest! (And probably correct me on some of my answers LOL)

    1) No. It's my understanding, that there was a series of runs (maybe even a single run) of shells that had a manufacturing flaw. It wasn't tied to any particular version of the loader. Again...I could be wrong.
    2) If you dont have one of the flawed shells, it's pretty tough to snap them when they are assembled and have the feedneck inside. But if its got a good tight clamp on it and you smash it hard enough....it might break, but it's really rare
    3) YES! It's more durable, lighter, and I BELIEVE (again...could be wrong) it's milled differently for a tighter fit.
    4) No. I don't think so. There is a serial number on the backbone, on the sticker, but I doubt they can tie a lot of plastic to a range of serial numbers. But, if you happen to break it, PBS will more than likely replace it, or if you play at events, they will normally swap t out for ya. There might be a way to tell by looking at the plastic itself, but I don't know of any.
    5) Not to my knowledge.
    6) Call Paintball solutions or your local pro-shop or visit the Empire/Kee booth at a paintball event.

"I think I need to just stop worrying" Agreed! You have a GREAT loader with outstanding support and service.

Thanks for those answers. I'll definitely invest in that new feedneck insert.
